Hi Emile,

you must Install EON 7.0 ( EON Raptor 7.0) which can work in 3ds max 2010 , you cannot use EON Raptor 6.1 for 3ds max 2010.

Thank you

Regards,

Philip

Hi Philip, Unfortunately I can’t find EON 7.0 anywhere, they say it shoot be available next week.I contacted EON for the activation code and got the following reply,

The license generator is currently issuing incorrect licenses. Please send the MAC address of your computer and we can generate a valid license for you manually (you can look up the MAC address using the LMTools under the EON Reality/Licens Tools group in the start menu).

To use Raptor with 3dsmax 2010 or design 2010, you need the EON 7 Raptor, which will be available next week.

Regards,

Hi, i'm using xp 32, and 3ds max 2009 32, since raptor 7 only support 32 version of max.

But i couldn't make it work. there is this message i got on the installation.

C:\Archivos de Programa\EON Reality\EON Raptor for 3dsmax 9 and later\SceneBuilderCom2Bridge.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personnel.

The options are Exit Installation, Try Again and Continue

Try again does not solve anything, and Continue appears to complete the installation, but once in max i realized that it does´t.

Last year i used raptor in some projects, and it rocks, i wonder how Eon Ultra works.

Thanks in advance!!

HI I have installed Raptor 6.1.1 in 3ds max 2009 and it installed without problem, but i canot get it to activate.

I have filled the Online Form to request the activation code, and i got an answer mail from licence2@eonreality.se

I copy and paste the activation code but i get this error mesage.

Please ensure that you have write-acces to the Windows folderand try again.

I supose that i have writing acces to the windows folder. But even so, i went straight to the Windows folder right click it - properties - uncheck the read only checkbox and apply, but Raptor window keeps giving the same message.

By the way, the mail with the activation code said:

Your activation code for EON Raptor Web Studio 5.5 is:

3DDA4F72AE4C

  1. Copy the activation code to the EON Raptor - Product Activation dialog that appears the first time you open EON Raptor from 3ds Max.
  2. Restart 3ds Max
  3. Enjoy EON Raptor

Could this be an error? since i am using Version 6.0.0 (build 1854)

hope you guys can help me solve this problem asap

thenks in advance!!

Hello, I had the same problam and after I posted a support ticket, EON sent me a “lic.dat” file This took a wile I had to send them my MAC address of the computer (you can look up the MAC address using the LMTools under the EON Reality/Licens Tools group in the start menu). Then I download EON reality, not for the program but for the license manager. In my  configuration window I redirected the license manager to the new license file I got from EON support. This sounds all simple but it took weeks to find it out and count lass install and uninstall for it to work. You don’t have to activate EON reality it just need to be instald or ells EON Raptor wound work. I hope it helps,

As stated previously, online license request for Raptor is down for the moment, so no matter if you use Raptor 6.1.1 or 7, you will need to send in the MAC address (=host ID) to receive a license.

The host ID can be found on the Raptor utility panel (if you scroll down to the Help section). Or as mentioned by Emile, you can get it from the License Tools program group as well.
